A booking is confirmed when we’ve received your deposit (20% of the total tour price) and sent you a confirmation email. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your tour start date.

Cancellations 60+ days before the tour: full refund of deposit.

Cancellations 30–59 days out: deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellations within 30 days: no refund (vendor costs are committed by this point).

We strongly recommend travel insurance for any booking.

We may need to change itineraries due to weather, safety, vendor availability, or events outside our control. Where possible, we will offer alternative experiences of similar value. If we cancel a tour entirely for reasons within our control, you receive a full refund.

When a Tour Has 1 Guest If you sign up for an overnight tour as the only guest, here is how it works. If others join the tour, everything runs as normal. The tour operates as a standard open group and the regular per person price applies. If no one else joins by the time of departure, the tour can only run as a private experience. In that case, we will reach out to you and ask for the difference between the open group price and the private tour rate. If you decide not to go ahead at that point, no additional charge will be made, however all payments already received are non-refundable. This policy applies to overnight tours only. Half-day and full-day tours are priced per person at the standard listed rate regardless of group size. You agree to provide accurate booking details, follow guide instructions during activities, and disclose any medical or mobility considerations in advance. Some activities have age, fitness, or swimming-ability requirements — these are noted on each tour page.

We hold business insurance which covers guests in the event of injury or harm caused by our negligence during a tour. For everything else, we strongly recommend that all guests take out their own comprehensive travel insurance before travelling. This includes cover for missed connecting flights, accommodation costs unrelated to the tour, personal injury, and any other unforeseen circumstances outside of our control. Our liability is limited to direct damages caused by our negligence and does not extend to consequential losses such as missed flights or hotel costs unrelated to the tour itself.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Naha, Okinawa.
